Dear Tim,
It's been a while since I update my blog last time.
Due to my health condition,I may update a little bit slowly.Hope you don't mind!
Also,I spent almost winter vacation going to the hospital.I think it was the most monotonous vacation.
And now I'm trying to ameliorate my health condition, live a regular life!

Dear Amy,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
I've been bothering Summer and most of the students in the class since January to find out more about your medical condition, and about how you are doing. I'm glad to see that you're well enough to write, at least a little.
I'm sure that, since you first found out about your lupus, and all of your trips to the doctors and the hospitals, you feel that "This Sucks! Why me? This isn't fair. What am I going to do now?" It's very easy to fell a little depressed, and even angry, about the whole mess.
I can relate to that. Summer may have mentioned somewhere along the line that I suffer from a bad heart, and have had his condition for a number of years. At the present time, I have about 15% of normal heart function, and have had several surgeries over the past few years. I take about six different medications every day, and the doctors advise me that if I don't take the medicines and see the doctors on a regular basis, that I could have another heart attack at any time. For the next one, I may not be so lucky.
So, like you, this is something that I've had to learn to deal with, and figure out the best way to live a meaningful life in spite of all of these problems. Of course, you have to accept the limitations that your conditions dictate, but you can still make a point of living the best, most active, life that you can.
The fact that you've worked up courage to write is a very positive sign. I also understand the one of the benefits of your illness is that you've lost a lot of weight, and that you are once again looking HOT! Is that true? I would like to see that!
Write soon,
Tim
